Here are some foods that should not be eaten when the stomach is empty :

  • Banana


This fruit is one intake that makes you full longer and good for digestion. However, should avoid eating too much in an empty stomach condition yes. Mentioned that bananas contain magnesium and potassium in high quantities, which when consumed in an empty stomach condition then the effect of magnesium and potassium levels in the blood will become unbalanced.

  • Tomato


Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C and other important nutrients, but should avoid eating this fruit in high amounts when the stomach is empty. Tannic acid present in tomatoes can increase acidity in the stomach and cause stomach problems.

  • Yogurt and other fermented milk products


Eating yogurt or fermented milk products on an empty stomach is mentioned can form the production of hydrochloric acid. This acid can then kill the lactic acid bacteria present in the dairy product and cause acidity. Excessive acid conditions are not recommended if the stomach is empty, because it interferes with the digestive system.

  • Pears and oranges


Pears contain coarse-shaped fibers. When we consume too much on an empty stomach, it can affect the soft mucous membranes in the digestive organs. Meanwhile, citrus fruits, especially the acid can trigger heartburn and stomach problems if consumed in excess when your stomach is empty.

  • Tea and caffeine


Avoid consuming tea, coffee or other caffeinated beverages when the stomach is empty. Caffeine in it can increase acidity and cause heartburn and indigestion throughout the day. Excess caffeine can also suppress gastric secretion and reduce the acid needed for the digestion of food.

Well some of us may instead eat the above food as a snack to wait for lunch time but it turned out wrong.
