Reduce staying up late to Control Appetite, rather than not

According to a recent study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, uncontrollable desire to eat and snacking is influenced by factors of sleep deprivation.

In this study, the researchers looked at 11 previous studies involving about 172 respondents. From this observation, found a significant association between lack of sleep and excessive appetite.

Researchers found that respondents' average nightly sleep less than 5 hours to consume about 385 extra calories the next day. These extra calories mainly from an increase in fat consumption. Conversely, lack of sleep also reduces the desire to eat healthy foods respondents include protein sources.

The researchers also found that the level of activity in the next day does not significantly affect those with less sleep, and enough sleep. This certainly return affect weight gain. Because caloric intake and increased appetite without necessarily accompanied by an increase in activity will lead to a buildup of calories and weight gain.

"Interestingly, those who sleep less on average unwittingly tend to consume more sugar in the next day," the researchers wrote, as quoted by the Body and Soul.

Well, to control excessive appetite, you are encouraged to start controlling your sleeping hours. Try to reduce the habit of staying up late and get used to sleeping 7-8 hours a night minimum. thus, the body enough time to rest and weight becomes more controllable.
